From Hennef to Neuburg – a strong performance by Team Saturn!
We had the pleasure of supporting Team Saturn from the Städtisches Gymnasium Hennef in their participation in the STEM Racing competition (formerly F1 in Schools).
In our 3D printing lab, we manufactured the wheels according to the team’s specifications – a small contribution that made a big impact on the racetrack.
The results speak for themselves:
🏆 Regional Champion West & State Champion NRW
🏆 Special Award for the Fastest Car
🏆 Engineering Award
🏆 Special Award for the Technical Portfolio
At the German Championship held at the Audi Experience Center, the team achieved an impressive 6th place. Even though it wasn’t quite enough to reach the World Finals, we warmly congratulate them on this success and, above all, on the valuable experience they’ve gained along the way.

What we find particularly impressive is the overall value of this project: young people working with such energy, teamwork, and passion on a single idea gain valuable experience that goes far beyond the competition itself – for their future studies, careers, or personal development.
We would like to say thank you for the great collaboration and wish the entire Team Saturn continued success and enthusiasm on their journey! The team has already decided to participate again in 2026, and we’re already gearing up and looking forward to supporting them once again with new 3D-printed wheels from our lab. Best of luck for the next season – we’re rooting for you!
