A labyrinth for Hennef

A labyrinth for Hennef

We have decided to support Sigrid Klein's project "A labyrinth for the Kurpark".

Due to the initiative of an employee of our production department we decided to support Sigrid Klein's project "A labyrinth for the spa gardens" with a donation. With the help of the Protestant church community of Hennef and the city of Hennef, the work is to begin this year.

The project and the implementation

The idea is not new. Under the title "A city finds its centre", the idea of creating a public labyrinth in Hennef was already mentioned earlier. New is the idea that it should be a barrier-free, accessible labyrinth. A spiritual place for everyone in the public space. This new initiative was started by Sigrid klein, born in 1948. The Hennef Ecumenical Circle was pleased about it and supports its implementation.

How did you get the idea to build a labyrinth in Hennef? Siegrid Klein: "Well, I always had a spiritual streak, but it should be tangible. The origins of mankind have always interested me, too. But it was a long way to the labyrinth idea. When I retired, through books by Gernot Candolini and other authors, I discovered the labyrinth as the original spiritual expression of humanity. During a journey the idea was born to create a labyrinth in Hennef."

Sponsors wanted

For the realization of this project we need financial support from you. In the planned execution, with a barrier-free path width of about one meter, a diameter of 17 meters and a path length of 244 meters, about 25.000 € are needed to realize the project.

Anyone can donate to the project. Sponsors who donate larger sums will receive a very special "thank you" in the form of an individual, hand-painted labyrinth picture or another "labyrinth surprise" by Sigrid Klein.
