They really cleaned up!
We have been excitedly following the F1 in Schools Regional Championships West and are thrilled that our sponsored team Sirius from Hennef won the tournament with flying colors!
We didn't expect that!
When we decided to support the student project "F1 in Schools" and the Team Sirius from the local grammar school in Hennef on a technical level at the beginning of November last year, we had no idea where the journey would take us. However, we quickly realized how much passion and technical know-how the five students displayed and communicated to finally achieve a well-deserved success at the Regional Championship West in Hennef.
Now it's off to the German championship
The first round of F1 in Schools, the Western Regional Championship, took place at the beginning of February at the local secondary school in Hennef and was a real showcase for talent and technical innovation. 15 teams had registered for the event and competed in Hennef to take part and advance to the second round, the German championships on May 4, 2024 at Motorworld in Cologne.
Our young engineers and racing enthusiasts from Team Sirius not only exceeded expectations, but also proved to be true champions. Team Sirius not only won the title of state champion of North Rhine-Westphalia, but also the following special prizes:
- Special prize for fastest car
- Special construction prize
- Special company portfolio prize
- Special price portfolio technology
- Special award team stand
- Knock-Out Winner
We are proud to be a part of this remarkable success story and look forward to continuing assisting Team Sirius on their journey, be it on a regional, national or eventually even international stage.
A complete success!
We would like to congratulate the entire Team Sirius on this extraordinary success. Their commitment, creativity and determination are inspiring and show that anything is possible with hard work and passion.
